The 2023 Keqiao Fashion Week (Spring) grandly opened.
From "Guye Canzhi" to the Ming and Qing dynasties' "Ri Chu Huashe Wanzhang Chou", from the "Water Town Cloth Street" to the "International Textile Capital, Hangzhou-Shaoxing Star City", Keqiao has inherited the tradition of fabric and developed because of it. Over the years, Keqiao has focused on the high-quality development of the textile industry, injecting strong momentum into the construction of an innovative source for modern fashion textiles, technological textiles, and eco-friendly textiles, and building a modern industrial system for the textile industry. As an important carrier to promote the transformation and upgrading of Keqiao's textile and clothing industry, Keqiao Fashion Week has undergone eight years of cultivation and development, creating a new engine to push Keqiao towards a "Textile Capital star city in Hangzhou and Shaoxing". In the year of starting the implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Keqiao Fashion Week, with its proud posture and new style, has opened a new chapter in Keqiao's fashion industry.
"The 2024 Spring/Summer Sustainable Fashion Trend Show" is presented by French designers Jad Adam and Célia Abbou, in collaboration with Shaoxing Keqiao Harvest Textile Co., Ltd. The show perfectly showcases the beauty and freedom of sustainable French design, with a mixture of nostalgic styles and environmentally-friendly materials, as well as the fusion of Parisian culture and colorful fabrics. It highlights the charm of Keqiao creativity, Chinese fashion, and global trends.
In the "Childhood" themed fashion show, French designers and Shaoxing Keqiao Harvest Textile Co., Ltd. collaborated to present a nostalgic story of childhood with three sub-themes: children's art, back to school, and memories of childhood. The designers created clothing and patterns with exquisite embroidery, printing, visible stitching, and natural coloring effects. They also used unique French weaving techniques and combined fabrics such as WALTZ floral yarn, triacetate, polyester organza, and hexagonal mesh to maximize the value of textile craftsmanship. Moreover, the show added sustainable fashion value by incorporating traditional handicrafts and eco-friendly materials.
"The collaboration with French designers has greatly enhanced our brand image, product innovation design, and market business development," said a representative from Harvest Textile regarding the successful fashion show. Cici, the person in charge of Harvest Textile, believes that Keqiao Fashion Week has provided a platform for zero-distance communication between enterprises and designers, enabling more high-quality fabrics be combined with cutting-edge design concepts, and enhancing the added value and competitiveness of products. Going forward, we will carry out fabric innovation and upgrading from multiple dimensions such as design, craftsmanship, hand feel, and quality. We hope to have more opportunities to collaborate with excellent designers.
